Potassium Metabisulfite 500 Grams
A white powder that dissolves easily into wine.
Can be used to kill wild yeast and bacteria.
It is also used as an antioxidant to keep white wine from browning and red wine from turning white.
It is also used in a solution of water to keep airlocks from becoming moldy.
Can be used for a sterile rinse or for a pre fermentation dose.
